July 16, 2004—
Everett turned two July 16th. We invited family, friends and neighbors to celebrate with us at the Kenilworth Park wading pool. We had a blast, splashing, popping balloons (sorry, Cade!), eating cupcakes galore, and opening beautiful, generous gifts from people we love. Thanks, you all, for making it such a wonderful party and a great birthday!
once the pool was full, it was a watery paradise, perfect for a party
some of the kids were happy to splash, while others waited expectantly for those delicious cupcakes
they couldn't wait for hot dogs, so we lit the candle...
...and, in four speedy breaths, everett blew it out
once the grill was going, the kids lined up to eat...
...and gossip at the picnic tables
