In my "is this normal big brother behavior?" conversation today, Everett's pediatrician asked me today if he had catch phrases. The statements he returns to again and again in arguments, his "final say." Boy does he.
- A new one: "That's IT!" This can follow any declaration of what it is Everett wants to do, or have, or a "no" response to what we would like him to do.
- "I'm not going to DO dat!" Probably comes from mama's rational, "we're not going to do that, Everett."
- "I am really, really MAD!"
- And the pleading, "But, I be GOOD! I be GOOD!"
- If he wants something, it's "That makes Everett happy!"
